Mossy Oak Promotes Youth Initiative ossy Oak announces its support for Two Million Bullets, a “call-to-action” program that challenges hunters and shooters to make youth — especially those from the inner city who are least likely to become involved — a top priority in the nation’s conservation effort. John Annoni, founder of Camp Compass Academy, was inspired to launch Two Million Bullets after experiencing a tragedy. “A student, who’d become like a son to me, was murdered. At his funeral, a thought began to consume me. ‘I wish I could buy that bullet back. I wish I could have become that bullet and saved his life!’” says Annoni on the Two Million Bullets website. “Through Camp Compass and now M the Two Million Bullets program, John reaches kids who would never be introduced to our world, much less to the positive aspects of what we do. If there is a more honorable calling in the outdoors, I have not heard about it,” said Ronnie “Cuz” Strickland, Mossy Oak senior vice president.
