Outdoor Outdoor marketplace Magazines Are Still Top Gun For Hunters J.K. Autry agazines remain the top choice for hunters when it comes to gathering information and seeking entertainment, according to the June 2010 HunterSurvey.com poll. Forty-four percent of hunters use magazines as their primary source to learn about the sport, a healthy majority over websites, which attract only 15 percent of hunters. Other sources of information used by hunters, according to the survey, include books, newsletters, newspapers, social media and radio. Five percent of hunters said they used e-mail as their sole source for information. Four percent of hunters indicated they use all available media sources for learning and entertainment. “With hunters and anglers using such a wide range of media sources for learning and entertainment, agencies, Magazines rate high as a main source of information for hunters.
