Industry news NSSF Awards $231,796 In Grants To Ranges he NSSF has awarded $231,796 in grants to nine shooting facilities through its Range Partnership Grant Program. Dominating this year’s winning proposals were new marketing strategies designed to motivate individuals, particularly youth and inactive shooters, to go target shooting and hunting. “Shooting ranges serve as learning and training centers for our sports, and these grants help ranges remind people in their communities that they can get a supervised, safe introduction to shooting close to home,” said Steve Sanetti, NSSF president. This is the third year NSSF has distributed funds to qualifying ranges through the program. A total of 30 proposals were submitted for consideration. The shooting facilities receiving grants are: The Wyoming Antelope Club, St. Petersburg, Fla.: www.nssf.org/shooting/grants $25,717.50. Corry Rod & Gun Club, Corry, Pa.: $3,500.
