FMG HITS THE TARGET! THANKS TO FMG FOR SUPPORTING FIRST SHOTS® AND OUR INDUSTRY An introduction to shooting For almost a decade, Firearms Marketing Group Publications (FMG) has put its money where its heart is – sharing and promoting the firearms industry while sharing the love of shooting with readers. At this year’s 9th Annual Shooting Industry Masters at Rockcastle Shooting Center, Park Mammoth Resort, Park City, KY., FMG donated over $37,000 to support NSSF’s First Shots® program, which helps new shooters learn to enjoy our sports. To date, FMG has donated almost $150,000 to First Shots and other NSSF programs to help promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports. Since its inception in 2005, First Shots has introduced over 35,000 people to target shooting at free, comprehensive seminars run by qualified range operators and instructors. First Shots seminars cover firearm safety, local ownership requirements, shooting fundamentals, hands-on instruction and how and where to continue. The National Shooting Sports Foundation also recognizes these fine members of our industry who sponsored the Shooting Industry Masters, they help everyone enjoy our sports and pass along one of America’s finest traditions.
