SA Shooting (USAS), the national governing body of Olympic shooting sports, has redesigned its website, www.usashooting.org. The new site features significant upgrades in navigation, video, photos of America’s Shooting Team and more. Future athletes can watch videos from top USAS athletes, who explain how they became involved in the shooting sports, and learn the specifics of each of the 15 different Olympic shooting events. The new Membership tab outlines top picks for athletes, parents, coaches, supporters, volunteers and officials. The site also includes in-depth information about the USA Shooting Team Foundation, and options to support the team. “We are confident the new website will not only be more appealing and easier to navigate, but we also hope it will better meet our strategic initiative of increasing USAS visibility to a wider audience, as well as better serve our membership,” said Robert Mitchell, USAS CEO. In conjunction with the website makeover, the USA Shooting Store also received a major facelift. For more information, visit www. usashooting.org. U USA Shooting Launches New Website Glock To Replace Recoil Spring Assembly G lock Inc. is voluntarily exchanging the recoil spring assembly (RSA) on its new Gen4 pistols shipped since August 2009. With several variations of the RSA in the market, Glock officials say the goal is to standardize the RSA to gain the best possible performance in each pistol. Glock notes the Gen4 G26 and G27 models do not require a modified recoil spring. The replacement of the Gen4 pistol RSA can be performed as part of the regular fieldstrip process; consumers do not need to take the Gen4 pistol to an armorer. Dealers should urge their Glock customers to call 1-877-745-8523. Also, visit www.teamglock.com.
