Currently, 20.6 million shares remain outstanding. The repurchases were funded with cash on hand. According to Ruger officials, the company has approximately $35 million in cash on hand and no debt. The company’s board of directors authorized a repurchase of up to $20 million of its common stock in January 2007. No further stock repurchases have been authorized.
