Industry news Hornady TV Commercial Wins Davey Award H ornady Manufacturing has received a 2009 Davey Award for its GMX bullet and ammunition television commercial. “GMX bullets and ammunition are fantastic new additions to the Hornady line, and we’re extremely proud to see our marketing efforts for these great new products recognized with a Davey Award,” said Neil Davies, Hornady sales and marketing manager. The Davey Awards honor the finest creative work from the best small firms, agencies and companies worldwide. The winning GMX spot is the first full HD, fully animated TV commercial for Hornady. Produced by Master Track Productions of Lincoln, Neb., the GMX spot can be viewed on the Hornady YouTube channel. SI DIGITAL VIDEO KodaBow Begins Crossbow Production odaBow Inc., a new manufacturer, announces it has begun making a proprietary line of crossbow products. All major components of the crossbows are manufactured in Mountville, Pa. The crossbows will have some military-grade accessory components and Picatinny rail configurations. KodaBow has established a strategic partnership with MicroFacture LLC, also located in Mountville.
