With nearly 30 years of executive and management experience, Williams will oversee and coordinate the task of evaluating systemic strengths and weaknesses and uniting the two companies for maximum efficiency and profitability. “Dave has an amazing track record of handling complex business issues around industry growth and company acquisitions, and his skill set is tailor-made for this task,” said Lyndon Faulkner, CEO of Pelican Products. Williams previously served as vice president of capital and engineering at Technicolor, where he oversaw engineering initiatives for optical disc manufacturing facilities and developed and managed capital budgets of $100 million. Additionally, he managed technology roll-outs for Blu-ray and Xbox discs. Williams is a 2007 graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Executive Strategy Leadership Program and the Thomson Executive Leadership Program. D. Hill, a manufacturing and prototypes engineer, has been employed with SIG SAUER since 2007. The award is based upon employee performance, leadership, initiative and enthusiasm, and voted on by the company’s employees and management. The winner receives a special parking place along with other recognition and monetary compensation. Hill has revamped the company’s assembly line for greater efficiency and cost savings, and worked on the development of newer versions of the SIG556 rifles and pistol, as well as on prototyping new SIG SAUER products such as the P238 and the SIG522. Additionally, he helped W. Hill SIG SAUER Honors Employee USA Shooting has hired Corrie West as marketing manager. She will assist director of marketing Buddy DuVall with the organization’s marketing and fundraising activities. West comes to USA Shooting with nearly a decade of sports marketing research and sponsorship experience. She has worked with a wide range of corporate sponsors and sports properties, interpreting research results into actionable strategies. Prior to her tenure in the sports industry, she was an operational consultant to independent grocery retailers. “Corrie’s extensive experience in sports marketing will help USA Shooting achieve our marketing objectives, specifically in the areas of sport promotion, sponsor relations and fundraising,” DuVall said. West received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. She also holds master’s degrees in Business Administration in Marketing (Concordia University Wisconsin), and in Sports Administration (University of Northern Colorado).
