JULY 2009 11 Elk Foundation Honors Forbeses he Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) honored David and Carman Forbes, co-owners of Hunter’s Specialties, as Conservationists of the Year during their 25th annual convention. The Forbeses donated more than $250,000 to the Elk Foundation through their sponsorships of the annual Volunteer Appreciation Night at Elk Camp, as well as being involved in a variety of other events.
