The Ruger Mini Thirty rifle, chambered for 7.62x39, is now available with M77 Hawkeye LH 20-round magazines. Ruger Firearms T Smith & Wesson (413) 781-8300 M&P Pro Series .40 S mith & Wesson expands its compact line of revolvers with a 2.5" aluminum alloy–frame Chief Special, Bodyguard and Centennial in .38 Special (Models 637, 638 and 642). They come with the new Tuff Quick Strip, which offers quicker reloads. There are also additions to the Crimson Trace Lasergrip–equipped J-frame revolvers, also packed with a Tuff Quick Strip. Additional offerings in Smith’s compact-carry line are two 3" Chief Specials, one in .357 Magnum/.38 Special, with a XS 24/7 Tritium front night sight; and one chambered in .22 LR, with a fiber optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight. Smith also adds two Centennial-style 1 7/8" barreled revolvers chambered in .22 LR and .22 Magnum. In Scandium-alloy frame Magnum revolvers, the XL Hunters feature 6"-plus barrel lengths, stainless steel cylinders with PVD coating and fiber optic front sights. Additions to Classic Series revolvers are the 4" Models 10 and 15, chambered in .38 S&W Special, and featuring classic wood service Model 638 grips. The six-shot Model 48, with 4" and 6" barrels, is now chambered in .22 Magnum. In the Pro Series line, Smith adds the Pro Series five-shot compact .38 Special and .357 Magnum revolvers, with cylinders cut for full moon clips. Two models, chambered in .357 Magnum and the new .327 Federal Magnum, feature front dovetail sights and rear night sights. Also in the Pro Series is the 4" and 5" M&P Pro, chambered in .40 S&W and a 4" 9mm. New from the Performance Center is a series of 2 5/8" revolvers, chambered in .357 Magnum, .41 Magnum and .44 Magnum. They feature non-fluted cylinders, dovetail red-ramp front sights and adjustable, white-outlined rear sights. A 4" .45 ACP revolver features deep-cut broached rifling, a gold-bead interchangeable front sight and a red, white and blue laminated grip. For states requiring a fixed stock and/or 10-round magazines, Smith & Wesson adds state-compliant models of the .22 LR M&P15-22 rifle for 2010.
