SHOT Show Auction O ver the years, manufacturers and sportsmen have raised more than $500,000 for the future of the industry through the SHOT Show’s annual firearm and knife auction. The 2009 SHOT Show Auction will feature three unique firearms and a special holster rig. Coordinated for the first time by the Hunting Heritage Trust, the 2009 auction features one-of-a-kind offerings from Bianchi, Colt Manufacturing Co., presentation case. The Marlin auction firearms, two Marlin 338 MX Custom Rifles, Serial #1 and #2, are chambered in the .338 Marlin Express cartridge by Hornady. The serial #1 rifle is hand-engraved by Baron Technology with elk and bear designs accented by scroll engraving that is based on historical Marlin patterns. The Serial #2 rifle is an out-of-the-box model. This auction package includes a case Marlin .338 MX Custom Rifle Remington 105 CTi II Circle No. 226 on Inquiry Card of Hornady .338 Marlin Express ammunition, documented to be the first case of the new ammunition. The case and each box of ammunition is signed and authenticated by Hornady President Steve Hornady. The Remington auction firearm, the new-for-2009 Remington 105 CTi II, features an aircraft-grade titanium receiver with a carbon fiber shell, and double-down feeding and ejection. The shotgun also features Serial #1 markings, with hand engraving by Baron Technology. Bidding for the SHOT Show auction items will take place exclusively on www.GunBroker.com, a partner of the NSSF and the Hunting Heritage Trust. Bianchi Double Gun Belt Rig and Two Colt Single Army Revolvers. Marlin Firearms and Remington Arms. The Bianchi and Colt auction package includes a Bianchi one-of-a-kind, custom silver-trimmed Double Gun Belt Rig, fitted with two fully engraved Colt Single Army Revolvers. The gun belt rig celebrates the 50th anniversary of Bianchi. The Colts feature nickel-plating, full-coverage engraving and wraparound ivory grips.
