Makes numbers recommendations and suggestions for creating hunting and shooting opportunities. Chapter 14: Outreach and Awareness. Explains how to reach people who know nothing of the hunting and shooting sports, piquing their interest and getting them to try the experience. Chapter 16: Maximizing Opportunities. Realizing and understanding the current opportunities available and how to make them more productive. “The Future of Hunting and the Shooting Sports” report tells us what’s happen- ing to the outdoors. The “Best Practices Workbook” tells us how to deal with it and hopefully change the direction. Both are available online at www.taskforce2020. org. It also offers tools to help with your own programs. Together We Can Task Force 20/20 will next meet in June at the 2009 Summit in Florida to present a report on its progress. However, it’s not just Task Force 20/20 whose progress will be measured. It will be the state of the entire industry. Sanetti put it in perspective. “It is an awesome responsibility. But we have to do it, and together we can,” he said.
