New Products C ompanies throughout the industry are unveiling their 2011 new product offerings, eager to help dealers maximize sales in the New Business Year. The following pages present many of the latest new products our industry has to offer, arming dealers with the information they need to determine what to offer customers in 2011. SI DIGITAL Readers of SI Digital: New products are linked to SI’s Product Index feature. Hot Link I n celebration of the 100th anniversary of the 1911, Browning introduces a .22 LR version. The Browning 1911-22 is made in the USA, and includes a collector’s certificate and limited-edition commemorative canvas and leather zippered pistol case. Frame and slide are machined from aluminum alloy in a matte blued finish; barrel features a stainless steel barrel block with target crown. Features include single-action trigger fixed sights, detachable 10-round magazine, and manual thumb 1911-22 A1 safety and grip safety. Grips are brown composite. A1 version has a 4 1/4" barrel and weighs 15 1/2 oz., and Compact version has a 3 5/8" barrel and weighs 15 oz. The A-Bolt bolt-action, 12-gauge, 3" shotgun features a 22" fully rifled 1-in-28" twist barrel for use with sabot-type slugs, an adjustable rear sight and the receiver is tapped for scope mounts. A detachable magazine attaches to a hinged floorplate with 2+1 capacity. Offered in Hunter, Stalker and Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity models, all with a TRUGLO/Marble’s fiber-optic front sight. Browning’s Maxus gas-operated, 12-gauge, semiauto shotgun adds more models for 2011, including the Maxus Hunter, Maxus All-Purpose Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity, Maxus Rifled Deer Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity, Maxus Rifled Deer Stalker, Maxus Sporting Carbon Fiber and Maxus Sporting. The Maxus Hunter and Maxus Sporting feature a wal- Infinity A-Bolt Micro Midas X-Bolt nut stock and forearm in high-gloss finish. Maxus Hunter is offered in 3 1/2" and 3" chambered models with 26", 28" and 30" barrels. Maxus Sporting is offered in 3" chambering with 28" and 30" barrels. The Maxus Carbon Fiber Sporting Clays model is available with 28" and 30" barrels. The Micro Midas line is for smallersized shooters. In shotguns, the Citori Satin Hunter Micro Midas over/under and Silver Hunter Micro Midas semiauto are offered in 12- and 20-gauge models with 24" and 26" barrels, both with 13" lengthof-pull. In rifles, the Micro Midas X-Bolt bolt action features a 20" barrel, 12 1/2" length of pull and is available in .22-250 Rem., .243 Win., 7mm-08 Rem. and .308 Win. Features a low-luster blued finish and satin-finished walnut stock with soft Inflex Technology recoil pad. The BL-22 Micro Midas lever action features a 16 1/4" barrel and 12" length-of-pull. Stock and forend are gloss finish American walnut. All Micro Midas firearms have Browning’s Growth Insurance Program. Also new in rifles are the X-Bolt Medallion Left-Hand, X-Bolt Hunter LeftHand and X-Bolt Micro Hunter Left-Hand bolt actions, which feature the Feather Trigger, X-Lock scope mounting system, detachable rotary magazine and Inflex Technology recoil pad.
