These new knives — 10 models in all — will replace Leatherman’s c, e, k and h-series knives. Crater knives feature solid black, 60-percent glass-filled nylon handles. Expanse knives feature a combination black-and-silver handle made from 60-percent glass-filled nylon and reinforced with stainless steel. Both series feature 2.6" blades (33-models) and 3.1" blades (55-models). Crater series blades are cut from 420HC stainless steel and Expanse series from 154CM. Each knife comes with the option of a straight blade or a combination straight/serrated blade. The 33-models are locking liner knives with improved Blade Launcher technology. The 55-models are lockback knives with thumb stud deployment. Both series feature bit drivers, fixed screwdrivers, bit storage in the handle, carabiners that fold away in the handle and a removable pocket clip.
