I want to see what goes into this. I want to hear what people have to say as to what they like about the show and what they think can be improved. Then I want to work together with the people here at NSSF to put on an even better show in Las Vegas in 2010.” Jeanette Mannuzza, NSSF’s manager of exhibitions and conferences, said she is projecting the show will occupy 715,000 square feet of exhibit space of the West Building in the Orange County Convention Center. “We’re using hallways, lobbies, public spaces and meeting rooms, trying to get everyone into the one building. That way, attendees won’t have to leave the West Building,” Mannuzza said. Mannuzza expects attendance at the show to be about what it was for 2008. “We’re expecting about 25,000 registered buyers,” she said. Although there was still some exhibit space available, Mannuzza expected it to sell out quickly. “We’ll continue to sell space, but the booths that are left aren’t on the main show floor,” she said. “The show floor is completely full.
