Advertising and public relations firm Callis & Associates has announced the addition of Chris Young as director of interactive services. Young will direct the agency’s interactive work, including Web site development and management, ecommerce implementation, search engine optimization, pay-per-click, Internet advertising and social network integration. He also will support the agency’s sales and interactive marketing projects. Young has 25 years of experience helping businesses design and implement information technology and Internet programs to enhance operations and achieve growth. He formerly was a partner and general manager of an Internet services provider, and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Central Missouri. Callis also has selected Dana Johnson as an account coordinator. Johnson will provide project management and media services to agency clients. In his new capacity, Skinner will direct customer services of the newly formed Guerini Custom Shop at Caesar Guerini USA’s facilities and operations center in Maryland. Skinner holds a degree in gunsmithing from Trinidad State College in Colorado. “We are particularly pleased with John’s decision to come aboard with us. Joseph Messner has transitioned to a senior advisory role with the company. Bushnell’s current senior management team — Blake Lipham, CFO; Phil Gyori, VP of marketing; Mark Welch, VP of sales; and Mark Porto, VP of operations — will continue to run all operations of the company. Rob Sharp, managing director of MidOcean Partners, will serve as Bushnell’s chairman. MidOcean acquired Bushnell in 2007. Messner joined Bushnell in 1999 as president and CEO. Under his leadership, the company has grown significantly through new product introductions and acquisitions, expanding the Bushnell family of products and brands. “My transition allows our superb senior management team to take on greater leadership responsibility, and for me to pursue other interests after a long and successful tenure with Bushnell.
