The Lantern is 98-percent effective at warding off mosquitoes, black flies and no-see-ums while providing ambient lighting. It is silent, odor-free and operates on a single butane cartridge that heats a mat releasing allethrin, an insect repellent that is a synthetic copy of a natural insecticide, creating a 15'x15' comfort zone. Each mat contains enough repellent for four hours of protection; each butane cartridge will operate the unit for 12 hours. The Lantern measures 6" tall x 5.5" wide. E lite Target Systems has improved its portable, self-contained turning target system. The TAC II is a wireless, microprocessor-controlled, battery-operated, two-stage turning target capable of operating indoors and out. Developed for tactical training, the system simultaneously presents or hides two silhouette targets via a remote with an optional range greater than 1,000' and a dual target drive train. The remote allows userdefined routines to generate repetitive scenarios or randomly timed sequences.
