LotuTec repels water and oil, causing it to bead off, without affecting light transmission. If the lenses become drenched, a shake of Zeiss Victory Diascope the scope will remove most water. Oils from eyelashes or salts from sweat, even sunscreen and fingerprints, come off cleanly without smearing. The coating is durable and resists abrasion.
