MANAGER, BRAND MANAGEMENT continued from page 36 shooting events around the country, the tour, Rinehart says, is the “nation’s largest traveling archery show.” Participants could choose to shoot 50 targets in a one-day tournament or 100 targets over two days. Rinehart and other sponsors provided more than $3,000 worth of prizes for drawings. The idea was to have fun. Whether scoring or just shooting for pure entertainment, skilled and unskilled shooters had the opportunity to take aim at some pretty interesting targets. In addition to their traditional and realistic fur-covered 3-D targets like bear or whitetail deer — they’ve even added a 19-foot-tall giraffe — Rinehart brought out some amusing ones like a 13-foot-tall “alien” (yes, of the Star Trek variety), a boxing kangaroo, various dinosaurs and more. “Where else can you take aim at an antelope one minute and a larger-than-life alien the next?” asked James McGovern, Rinehart’s vice president. “We developed the R100 concept as a way to bring friends and families together in the spirit of fun and competition. It was great to see so many different people across the country — hunting clubs, school groups, families and others — having a great time.” Remington Arms currently has an opening for a MANAGER, BRAND MANAGEMENT, PREMIUM AND CUSTOM FIREARMS.
