Robinson Outdoor Products Selects Product Manager Robinson Outdoor Products (ROP) has hired Eric Bantley as product manager for their newly developed footwear division. Bantley will focus on development, planning, production, delivery and sales of footwear. He also will help facilitate research, development and production of other ROP products. “We are very excited to welcome Eric to our team. His vast understanding of the outdoor market, compounded with his extensive knowledge of footwear products, will help launch us into this category with innovative designs as a bridge to our core business of scent elimination,” said Scott Shultz, president of ROP. Bantley comes to ROP from Outdoor Product Concepts, where he worked in sporting brands development. Bantley SHE Safari Signs Kim Rhode SHE Safari, maker of women’s outdoor apparel, has signed three-time Olympic medalist Kim Rhode as their national spokesperson. The company also announced plans to create a new line of Kim Rhode shooting apparel. “We are pleased and honored to have Kim on our team,” said SHE Safari owners Pam and Brian Zaitz. “Kim will be an excellent representative and a wealth of knowledge for our company and the new line of clothing designed specifically for women shooters.” “I’m proud to be associated with SHE Safari because they provide the avid outdoorswoman with high-quality apparel that is both functional and stylish. I’m looking forward to working together with SHE Safari to make this line really special,” Rhode said. In addition to her one bronze and two gold Olympic medals, Rhode has won seven gold medals in World Cup competitions and two at the Pan American Games. She has switched to skeet shooting for the 2008 Beijing Olympics as her previous event, doubles trap, was dropped from the competition.
