MidwayUSA Celebrates 30th Anniversary M idwayUSA celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2007. Originally serving mid-Missouri customers, today MidwayUSA is a catalog and Internet retailer offering “Just About Everything” for shooting, reloading, gunsmithing and optics. “I have always loved guns — shooting, reloading and gunsmithing are my hobbies — and I have been fortunate to find other like-minded people to join us at MidwayUSA in serving our customers,” said Larry Potterfield, company founder and president. “The employees at MidwayUSA are passionate about shooting and hunting — and that passion shines through to our customers. Pre-SHOT Show Media Day Set T he third annual Media Day at the Range will be held Feb. 1, 2008, the day before the start of the SHOT Show in Las Vegas. The event will be held at the Boulder City Shooting Range in Boulder City, Nev., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Event organizers anticipate more than 60 manufacturers will present their new products for 2008. The day will include a continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments. Transportation will be provided from designated hotels.
