Smith & Wesson Launches Promotions S mith & Wesson has announced “Aiming For Alaska,” a six-month promotion that will reward dealers and distributors for the sale of new Smith & Wesson, Walther and Thompson/Center firearms. The promotion, open only to Smith & Wesson’s Top Gun Dealers, began on Nov. 1 and will run through April 30, 2008. Twenty-five Smith & Wesson dealers and five distributors, along with their guests, will win a seven-day Royal Caribbean Alaskan cruise, due to sail in August. Other prizes include free firearms. To qualify, Top Gun Dealers must sell 100 new Smith & Wesson, Walther and Thompson/Center firearms during the sixmonth promotional period. Smith & Wesson also is offering additional incentives for sales associates, who will have the opportunity to earn a “Smith & Wesson Experience” — an all-expense paid trip to Smith & Wesson Headquarters, free firearms and other free S&W merchandise. “Aiming For Alaska” is a follow-on to the company’s “Shooting for Hawaii” promotion, which rewarded 50 dealers and five distributors with a seven-day vacation on Maui in September. Smith & Wesson Top Gun Dealers should contact their sales representatives for more information. Customer Pull Smith & Wesson also launched, on Nov. 1, a number of consumer promotions. Through Dec. 31, consumers who purchase a new M&P15 rifle may select two free products of three offered (mail-in redemption): magazine, tactical watch or tactical knife.
