Style A108 Style A109 Style A110 Instructor Belt Style A108 The Wilderness Original Instructor Belt was developed in 1983 and has been refined ever since. It is a very strong belt with a specially designed carbon steel V-ring buckle coated with non-glare black Roguard, a tough milspec finish which is highly corrosion-resistant and will not chip like cheaper coatings. The Wilderness proprietary resin treatment on the belt tab actually soaks into the core of the nylon and bonds with it, providing permanent protection from fraying and years of faithful service. Five rows of stitching along the length of the belt significantly stiffen it and enhance load bearing. Titanium Instructor Belt Style A109 The Original Titanium Instructor Belt has all the features of the Original Instructor Belt with the added feature of a Titanium buckle. Cast from aerospace-grade Ti6Al-4V alloy, the 1½" Ti buckle is almost 50% lighter than the steel buckle, ultra corrosion-resistant for maritime applications and non-magnetic. The TiBelt buckle loses none of the rescue and emergency securing utility of the conventional steel buckle.
