THE Roy Huntington INSIDER 5 4 TM sPeCtaCLe I might have just made up that title word match-up, but it makes sense to me. In this, our actual 35th Anniversary Issue, I thought we could have some fun playing “Hey, I remember that!” in a bit of a retrospective-spectacle of ourselves. Going over the old issues, it was hard to cull, and I soon found myself with way too many to use. So, in no particular order, here’s some cool old things from our past pages, sure to invoke the impulsive finger-point and “Geez, I wish I still had mine!” from all of us. And no use acting like you don’t remember this stuff, because if you’re a certified gun-crank — which most of you are — there’s no need to be shy about it. They really were good old days (an ad for a new Colt Python?!), and as we forged new ground, it wasn’t until lately many of those early ideas we fumbled around with are finally turning out to work using new technology and materials. But boy, it was sure fun seeing the first of the new gadgets in the day, and I hope you get as big a kick out of this as I did putting it together.
