Serial #APG USA 02 was built by Ralph Gutenkunst and Bill Laughridge of Cylinder & Slide and features a classic 4.25" Commander styled gun. Serial #APG USA 03, built by Terry Tussey of Tussey Custom, features Terry’s own Carry Comp Officers Model configuration. The Custom Compact was built by Jason Chambless as a chopped down Government model, and features the “Diamondback” style of Marc Morganti of Gemini Customs. The American Pistolsmiths Guild has created two amazing prizes for two very lucky winners this year. The first winner shall have their choice of an amazing 3-gun set of custom sequential serial-numbered presentation grade matching 1911 pistols, or one of the most over-thetop custom compacts you will ever lay your eyes upon. The 3-gun set has been created in the legendary shops of Cylinder and Slide, Tripp Research and Tussey Custom; while the custom compact was a joint achievement of the Springfield Armory Custom Shop and Gemini Customs. Both the three-gun set and the custom compact have been beautifully engraved and inlayed by Guild master engraver Brian Powley. The custom compact wears a beautiful and durable cobrachrome finish by Tripp Research and the 3-gun set WWW.AMERICANHANDGUNNER.COM T 2011 Raffle Guns has been expertly finished in a traditional deep blue by Alan Tilman. The 3-gun set wears rare Sonoran Desert Ironwood grips, custom crafted and inlaid with enameled Guild logos, and the custom compact gets beautiful Elder Burl sterling silver “Top Hat Devils.” All grips are the work of Ed Strange of Wicked Grips. The 3-gun set is built on Caspian frames and slides, with barrels by Bar Sto, action parts by Cylinder & Slide, checkered in 25 LPI. The custom compact is based on a Springfield Armory 1911. Heirloom pistols deserve fitted presentation cases, and both the 3-gun set and the custom compact have beautiful cases crafted by Les Yoder of Brookfield, Inc. A limited number of tickets will be printed, and your donation of $20 per ticket gives you the opportunity to win one of these stunning prizes.
