GUNNYSACK TMT wAllETS I Roy Huntington know, it ain’t a gun or even a gun accessory so why’s it here? It’s here because it’s cool, it makes sense, is built tank-tough and might save your butt some day. Most of us hate to carry a wallet and it’s mostly a must-do thing for guys. But the TMT Tactical Wallet caught my eye. Picture an aluminum billet machined into what you see here. There’s an O-ring to keep things waterproof, a built-in pen, tweezers, toothpick, two hidden compartments, a striking edge also harboring a carbide glass breaker, a lanyard clip, compass, reflecting surface and the stainless steel inserts can be sharpened if you like. The latch is tough and keeps things secure. And, they make the same set-up in DelRin (a plastic) with the same features, but it’s called the TMT Sport Wallet. The aluminum one is about 7.4 ounces and the Sport is 2.4 ounces. At about 1.1x3.5x4", both are very compact and you can actually carry one in a pocket. I found mine to be most comfy in a front pant’s pocket as they are hard, and sitting on one ain’t comfy. But if you’re a soldier, camper, hiker, hunter, trucker, motorcycle rider, bicyclist, rancher or anyone who might encounter tough weather, hard living, bad guys or tough spots this addresses lots of problems. The TMT wallets will keep your “necessaries” safe and dry and still give you a few basic tools at hand. You can use the “secret” compartments to store medications, an iPod, fishing gear, .22 ammo, razor blade, sewing kit, nail clippers, a tiny Swiss Army knife or anything else you can cram into it. Plus you’ll still have room for cash, credit cards, ID and such. Both are of very high quality and beautifully made. Think of ‘em as “mini-vaults.” They are about $125 for the Tactical and $85 for the Sport. For more info: www.americanhandgunner.com/productindex WWW.AMERICAnhAnDGUnnER.COM 99
