Weight of the hawkhook is minimized by using a framesheet of 420J stainless matte-finish steel for the framelocking side panel, which also hosts a pocket or webbing clip, and textured plastic for the other handle scale. the stout little thumb-studded blade itself is matte stainless auS 8a, and the open construction makes it easy to clean. if you hold it with your fingers (check out the picture) it busts out a window quick as you can think on it. it will easily fit in a shirt pocket, but we think it’s handier clipped to your cruiser’s visor.
